In this paper we discuss the potential of mass personalization for ceramic tableware objects. We argue that additive manufacturing is the most adequate approach to the production of such objects. Furthermore, we review the manufacturing of ceramic tableware objects, and assess which available additive manufacturing technologies are suitable for that purpose.
